There is a safe in the room, please use it! I got my stuff stolen without knowing it till one week later. "Very big hotel with open calm spaces to relax and enjoy music and a buffet of coffee tea and small snacks - felt like I could really unwind. Just a small note that English is not a language the staff speaks, so need to brush up on a little Japanese or rely on those Google translators ! But all are eager to please, and it’s a pleasure to experience the politeness and customer care of their culture. Their dinners are very authentic and delicious. Onsens are wonderful with very clean atmosphere."

"It was a quick stop for us so we didn't mind a traditional Japanese business hotel. Room size was decent while furniture outdated. Mattress was not super comfortable but nothing too much beyond our expectation. Check-in staff speak little English but were generally helpful. Parking lot is narrow, but again all within our expectations. Area is vibrant with a good range of restaurant options and very walkable. Value for the price."

"An amazing experience in a traditional Japanese inn! The room was expansive and spacious, and definitely try the onsen, even if it seems intimidating to try as a foreigner. I experienced it in the winter after hiking snow trails, so it really soothes the body! The surrounding resort is beautiful and easy to walk to many hotspots in the area. The non-reservation restaurant on B1F is nice, but their menu is limited in the evening, so plan ahead if you are looking for nighttime dining. "
