"Location was great! A few minutes (although uphill) from the historical city centre and National Palace. Lots of restaurants, cafes, & shops nearby. Beds were very comfortable and clean. My family and I adored the apartment. Even though we stayed on the lower level, it was very bright. Lots of one way streets that are narrow. I do not recommend driving if staying here. Parking was NOT easy to find."

"The apartment is great for a family as it is spacious and has access to a pool and playground. It was also very clean and the balcony has a lovely view so perfect for meals. If there are mobility issues, it might take some effort to walk up the hill after a night in the centre of Ericeira but it's only a 15 minute walk otherwise. It would have been good to have a washing machine."

"Paolo's place is set one road back from the beach road. You can see and hear the ocean from the apartment. The apartment is well equipped, including bicycles, surf boards and wet suits. I was there during low season, so the town was very quiet. If you don't have your own vehicle, transport to and from Santa Cruz during low season is not easy. Paolo was a very responsive, caring and helpful host."

"This place is a dump. Do not stay here, and don’t trust the reviews that say otherwise! This place might have been great in the 90s, but that’s the last time anything was maintained and/or cleaned thoroughly. Our first room was dark and filthy, and located on the maintenance side of the property. So we went to the front desk to ask to get moved since most rooms were sitting empty.
