"Property was very beautiful. They switched my room to an apartment on the ground floor which was very damp and smelled a little mildewy. There was a dehumidifier in the bathroom, but it wasn’t adequate. Room was still very damp."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for our family with kids. The pool was a great spot to relax, and the food was delicious. However, the real highlight was the reception team. They went above and beyond to assist us with a few challenging issues, resolving everything with ease. "The Sintra Boutique Hotel is located in the very heart of the historic center of Sintra. The Sintra Palace is almost directly across from the hotel, and the Quinta da Regaleira is a short walking distance as well (10 minute walk). The hotel room was fine and clean. The staff at the reception area was very friendly and informative - providing maps and other info on Sintra. The hotel has a parking area, but is not located at their property. It is located on or next to their sister hotel (Bliss Hotel). After you drop of your luggage at the Sintra Boutique Hotel, it takes about 25 minutes to drive to the parking area - which is a safe one. Luckily, it only takes a 5 minute walk up to the hotel from the parking area. (I would avoid driving in Sintra. If you are staying in Lisbon, take the train from the Rossio Station to Sintra.) Please know that there are many shops and several restaurants near the hotel. As most folks come to Sintra on a tour, this overly busy town is very quite in the evening and early mornings. The hotel has a restaurant as well, and the breakfast was wonderful. Whenever I return to Sintra, I will be returning to this hotel - but I will certainly not drive there. By the way, as Sintra is now overrun by tourism (e.g., it appears to be the DisneyWorld of Portugal), so you MUST get your tickets to the Palaces on-line way before you go, This includes the Sintra Palace, the Pena Palace and the Quinta da Regaleira. Tickets are date/ timed stamped entrances."

"I cannot give enough positive accolades for my stay. The resort is stunning, all the food was modestly priced and exceptional. I didn’t have a single bad meal. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the pools were great! Especially the staff was exceptional. Each restaurant we dined in did not disappoint, you don’t even have to leave. Only gripe is the several day Indian wedding blaring their music during their festivities our entire stay. Could have done without that experience. "

"Everything about our one night stay in this romantic boutique hotel was beyond our imagination. Only wish it could have been longer. Of note, if driving you need to get a passcode/qr code from the hotel to actually enter the area to arrive at the hotel. Parking is extremely limit, though free IF you can find it on the tiny narrow streets. My understanding is that the hotel has a garage somewhere down the street but can only hold 6 cars and it's 20€ per night "
