"They gave us a wrong room with shared bathroom so we had to stay for one night not two, no staff at night or at check in. Other rooms are great and good people. Need a refund for the cancelled night. "

"The most stunning location in the national park with glorious views. Lovely house, easily accommodated 8 of us. Well provisioned house. Worth noting that the room photographed with 4 beds cannot be accessed through the main house but through a separate side entrance. The house is not easy to find but host was really efficient and kindly arranged for the housekeeper to meet us at an easy to find location and we followed her to the house. "The apartment very spacious and immaculately clean. Vera at reception was brilliant. I was not feeling well on arrival and she made be very comfortable with a blanket and lovely pot of tea in the family room as we waited to formally check in when our room was ready. She even came to see how I was faring the next afternoon. How kind and caring. We were both touched."

"This was our 2nd stay with Dare Lisbon House. What makes the property stand out is the friendly, helpful staff; the central location; fresh DIY breakfast supplies; lovely full size toiletries in the bathroom; complimentary wine/coffee in the lobby; and feeling at home.
