"Chalet Ritz is a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed how tastefully appointed it is. We stayed for almost a month and there was plenty of space for the two of us. Our host Marvin was always available if we had questions or needed help. He even loaned us a clam fork so we could dig for clams! The cottage has the feeling of old Arroyo Grande. "This cottage was perfect, well, equipped kitchen, towels, extra bedding if needed, perfect for pets, and if laundry needed to be done, all essentials were provided. Had a slight problem with the heater not working however contacted property owner and it was taken care of right away. Space heaters were provided immediately while waiting for emergency repair man to come and fix the problem. Problem was resolved.I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a quiet getaway and close enough to...

The place had everything we needed, and we loved all the nice, thoughtful touches throughout the place. Elise was a welcoming and helpful host both before and during our stay. She has put together a guidebook that can rival many a visitors center. "There was no table inside, just TV trays. We were able to cook some meals while there but it was not convenient for eating. The gas grill was fairly dirty and we decided to not use it. There was a table and chairs outside but they were not clean and the metal chairs had no cushions that we had access to. "Great stay and experience. It's difficult to describe, but felt detached from urban or downtown life. Enjoyed the peace but also enjoyed the option of a quick drive or bike ride to DT SLO, Pismo, or AG. "

"It’s a very cozy and comfortable home. The house bedrooms are well furnished. The kitchen has all the needed appliances. It would be nice to have stainless steel vessels for cooking as the nonstick are not well cared for by guests. Overall an excellent place to spend 4 days."
