"We live in northern Belize about 35 miles south of Bacalar and wanted a nice quiet, low-key get away. Just for R & R. We cooked some things before we came and made other things while we were there, but also enjoyed the local fare. The pictures were accurate. "A little pricey but I enjoyed the nice big room with very comfortable bed. Swimming in the pool and even jumping on the trampoline. The staff are very helpful. Iguanas come up onto the lawn. Very close to the Belize border. "
