"Great place to stay!! Friendly staff, rooms were bigger than we thought they would be and super clean. We went on a family trip, 10 of us between adults and kids, felt safe at all times. After the lake we walked to the centro from the hotel at night,there was a night market with all types of food and goodies. Families, couples, groups of friends and some by people by themselves, we were all enjoying the great atmosphere, lots of fun!!!"

If you can stay on a Wednesday, when lake activities pause for the day, it is SO peaceful and serene at Cristalino. The room was so comfortable and I enjoyed the local aromatherapy toiletries. My only recommendation would be to add slippers in the room. I won’t hesitate to book at Cristalino the next time I am in Bacalar. "

The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. A very important factor was that it was pet friendly and our little guy was very happy there as well. From arrival to departure the staff made sure we had an excellent experience and we absolutely did. Casa Bakal is definitely a return destination, often. "

"Simple and charming with just the essentials good jumping off point to Belize for "free zone" duty free shopping and casino. Tgere's not a lpt in walking distance but Uber and cabs are cheap. Food at the casino was surprisingly good. You simply can't beat the price and welcoming staff. Thank you for an enjoyablr stay, albeit short. "
