"we checked in to the hotel and i was surprised by the small lobby, but then saw the larger lobby on the other side of the small wall and it was fine for having drinks in the evening. the room -- with a balcony and river view-- was way too small for two people for 4 nights! I was so upset, you couldn't even open the balcony doors without them hitting the bed. I complained and by the next morning they were moving me to what they said was a "step down" -- a much larger room complete with sitting area, bathtub, larger bathroom, and a closet. the first room didn't even have a closet. I was ready to check out because i was so upset but they changed me and all was good from there on. nice breakfast set up and service. great location -- right on the river and literally a couple of blocks to Ufizzi and about 6 blocks to santa croce! "
