"Was für eine tolle Unterkunft! Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts hier sehr wohl gefühlt, denn man merkt, dass mit viel Herzblut gearbeitet wird, damit sich die Gäste wohlfühlen können. Die gesamte Anlage ist gut durchdacht und architektonisch sehr ansprechend und ästhetisch. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und lichtdurchflutet. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls schmackhaft und die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeiterinnen gestaltete sich als sehr angenehm und es konnten auch gute Tipps fürs Erkunden...

"The stay was good but with some remarks: - some fourniture is outdated (chairs in kitchen and sofa ouside are worn out) - very bad smell in the washing room - you need a car for visiting the city (more than 30 minutes of walk) all issues and problems were solved quickly by the support and service team - very good communication"

"Overall we enjoyed our trip and this was supported by good accommodation at the villa. The villa manager was very accessible which made things easier for us, we arrived later in the evening and had to pay a late check in fee which I believe should not be compulsory. I had to deal with a few issues regarding our second payment for the villa which should have been taken on the same card as used for the deposit 3 0 days prior to arriving. "The house was great! It was beautiful, spacious and had everything needed for a stay for multiple people. We paid to have the pool heated, which was definitely worth it. It was very well used by kids and adults alike. The rooms were very nice - all with ensuite bathrooms. The house is in a good location. About 15 minutes walk to the beautiful Sao Rafael beach. The quickest way into town is via Uber - taking 5-10 minutes. We would gladly recommend staying here. "

"We had a lovely weeks stay at the villa. We were 3 families with teenagers. The villa had everything we needed to ensure all 6 teenage boys were occupied. "Fabulous villa which had all the facilities and ameneties as described. Great location conveniently positioned for beach Restaurants and supermarket. "The apartment was comfortable, reasonably well equipped, and the beds were good. There was daily housekeeping, and linens were changed every 3 or 4 days. There's a modest gym, sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a cold tub, and a tennis court. We ate in mostly, but there's enough restaurants open in February to eat out too. This was our second stay at Cerro Mar."

"We selected the all inclusive buffet and it was amazing day after day. Sao was always welcoming and so was all the staff. The location is close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The backyard pool was pleasant to hang out around and read or have a drink. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Excellent stay of 2 weeks. "

"I was shocked that this hotel is a 3 star hotel because it seems like a 4 or 5 star. Excellent service, super friendly staff so clean, spacious apartment and very modern/beautiful. Also in a really good location very close to the restaurants."

"Stayed for 4 nights, hotel in a great location. Easy access to beach, marina, shops, restaurants and a short walk into Quarteira. From the moment you enter, the staff are amazing. Large, comfortable rooms, restaurants, bars and general areas all immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym contained in beautiful grounds. B&B option includes a superb buffet breakfast, with large variety of foods available. Although located at bottom of marina and hotel was busy, very quiet at night with no noise, which was great."

"Don’t hesitate to stay at this very special hotel! The setting is beautiful with lovely views, gardens, lake and man -made beach. We took the bird/flora tour and the wine tasting, both were fantastic! The choice of leisure activities is awesome, something for everyone! Breakfasts were just the best with so much choice (the fruit and freshly baked bread and pastries were exceptional). Above all, a big thank you to the staff who, without exception, could not do enough for you with a smile and a greeting. Special mention to Alex, customer relations, who sent us wine and macaroons and was so helpful, Mona in the restaurant who anticipated our every need and was such fun! The lovely, bubbly (great English!) lady on reception who took the bird tour. Wonderful holiday, ten out of ten."
