"I could write a lot about Kamuroan but I'll keep it short! Okami-san runs a wonderful ryokan. As a guest you will feel comfortable & welcomed. The rooms are lovely, the food is amazing and the hospitality is fantastic. It's also in such a lovely location in Gion, allowing early morning & late evening walks when it isn't swarming with tourists which I definitely recommend doing if you stay here. "Poor noise Isolation between rooms : neighbors snoring all night long. Poor sens of hospitality : host refused us a shower before leaving because it was 10:30 am in stand 10am checking out time. Rule is rule..... don’t expect more there."
