"Room 309 was nice, overlooking a cute courtyard. The hotel is charming snd the breakfast staff are lovely. The breakfast is very good, a highlight. The hotel is noisy though, both internally, noises eco around the courtyard, and there was a lot of construction around. Having said that, I enjoyed it very much. "

"Reasonable place to stay, no issues, was comfortable. It’s maybe 10 mins walk from the corner of Oaxaca centro. The area is a lot quieter than centro itself, so late at night we felt slightly wary (we were two women) but the locals otherwise say it’s a safe area. It’s only 8 mins walk from ADO bus terminal which was nice. Breakfast was excellent. Safe worked well. Service was lovely. Hot water was hot. I would recommend this place overall but staying closer to centro might be more convenient "

"Lovely property within walking distance to center and neighborhoods. Enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast on the terrace daily. Only negative is the mattresses are hard…like sleeping on the ground hard. They gave me an extra blanket folded in half to go under the sheets and that solved the problem. I felt guilty letting the shower run a few minutes to get hot knowing there is a water shortage. Housekeeping excellent. Would stay again. "

"Absolutely beautiful setting and landscaping. The onsite restaurant was good. Outside of the center city but cab rides were never more than US $5 each way. One morning we had a singer who was quite good during breakfast. What sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff at every level. Attentive, responsive, warm and kind. One suggestion: more variety in the breakfast choices for those who choose the included breakfast (after four mornings, it gets a bit monotonous.) We will be back. "
