It was impeccably clean, well appointed & best of all…the central location was perfect for easy access to markets, food options including the famous street food, character of the city & the colourful traditional events leading up to the end of the month. Our host was also able to help us with shuttles from the airport & other locations. "

"Amazing location and great property. The courtyard is lovely and the property is spacious. We had 5 people (3 adults, 2 children) and had plenty of room. The bathroom water pressure & hot water was amazing (sounds like a small thing until you check out other plumbing in the area). We were there the week before Dia de Los Muertos, so it was loud,but we got used to it. "

"This property has the potential to be really fabulous. The space is beautiful and great location. However the male host Mateo, was very rude in an extremely misogynistic way. As a female who booked the room, the only time he addressed me instead of my fiance was if i was solo and when I paid him. He also was talking poorly about the femal employee who was actually extremely helpful calling her stupid to us. "Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Casita del Abuelo. It’s a lovely house and was immaculate when we arrived. Jorge, the host, was very attentive and went above and beyond to welcome us and address our needs. The neighborhood is very pleasant and we were able to walk to a couple different breakfast spots in the morning. We mostly took taxis to and from the Centro but also found the bus to be quite convenient. All in all, we highly recommend La Casita del Abuelo."
