"Location, accommodation, and host were 5 star. When we arrived, Antonella had pasta, sauce and fresh homebaked bread for us. The view from the property was amazing, the beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was very clean. One thing that is probably a "lost in translation" is a reference to a hot tub/jacuzzi. We did not see one, but it did have a tub in one of the bathrooms (which we used). Overall, a dream escape in Tuscany!"

"This place is a gem. The location and staff are amazing. The room is nice and with a private bathroom. In addition, the restaurant has AMAZING dishes and incredible wine. I would consider this restaurant at a Micheline Level. The location to drive around Tuscany is perfect and they provide bikes for riding around the area. In addition, it has a very nice pool, where you can relax under the Tuscan sun. "

"The whole family loved our spacious and well equipped apartment in a beautiful setting with far reaching views. The generous welcome box of essentials was a lovely surprise, as was the delicious bottle of wine. Enjoyed al fresco dining in our own garden area and the kiddies play equipment was much appreciated - as was the fabulous swimming pool. Drive into San Gimignano took just 8 minutes along delightful country road."

"Wonderful, quiet getaway with excellent service. I'd suggest at least a 2 night stay here, and recommend checking out the small town nearby (having a rental car is a good idea). "

"We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"If you're looking for a place that's quiet and off the beaten path this is it! Set in the beautiful country side, the scenery and gorgeous views itself will calm even the most turbulent mind! My family and I (3 total- English speakers only-which was fine most staff was able to communicate) stayed only one night, but it was wonderful. The place is a bit rustic, but in good condition. The meals were like a blast from the past with what seemed like your grandmother and family sitting down for...

"Villa Parri is a beautiful well-preserved villa with amazing architecture and lovely surroundings. So friendly and helpful at the front reception. Great suggestions and helped us with the best places to park and see. It is off the beaten path so, with the exception of the amazing restaurant onsite, you have to drive to go anywhere. Of course the trade off is a small piece of serenity and quiet in a stunning villa."
