I like walking, so the location was fine for me (I averaged about 10.5 miles per day). They have one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. "We absolutely LOVED this place! My kids said it’s hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is magical, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, the kitchen perfectly appointed. I couldn’t speak higher of this perfect spot. Even walkable to town (sidewalk the whole way) although a bit far with young kids. And the local store just around the corner had everything we needed. The trail around the property we walked multiple times and all enjoyed....

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

Coffee-maker and bar fridge conveniently in room. "

"This is place to be in if you are a nature lover. This place is so serene and peaceful. The staff especially, Emel and Carlos took care of us so dearly. We felt as if we are home and they really took care of whatever we need. However, you need all wheel drive to get to Monteverde and also to this Hotel. That was the only hiccup we had. Once we reached there, it was very fabulous experiece. "

"Came with All my kids and grandkids. 16 Total. The house was so good to have wonderful bedroom/bath suites for everyone. The house is beautiful and richly appointed to match the Costa Rica rich landscape and character. We used the Large deck continuously with lots of room for our large family playing cards and eating. The highlight was having the swimming pool next to the deck and the kids were so entertained in it. It is a 25+ minute drive to La Fortuna but we would definitely book again."

"The space was really beautiful and was everything we needed. I was facilitating a wellness retreat and the large room was perfect for our participants and activities. The rooms were great and so was the space. My only recommendation is to make it clear in the posting that the swimming pool and labyrinth area is located in another part of the location of the property and is not walkable to get to.
