"This place has the most beautiful views of Arenal and the surrounding forest. We were able to see Tucan, Vultures and one other animal with our naked eyes. Such a beautiful place to stay. Last but not the least, the host Sergio. He is the sweetest Jentlemen I ever met. He has the best recommendations and offers help even in the middle of the night. Next time I visit, I will not have a second thought about making a reservation here just because of views and Sergio."

"This is place to be in if you are a nature lover. This place is so serene and peaceful. The staff especially, Emel and Carlos took care of us so dearly. We felt as if we are home and they really took care of whatever we need. However, you need all wheel drive to get to Monteverde and also to this Hotel. That was the only hiccup we had. Once we reached there, it was very fabulous experiece. "

"Lovely clean place, lovely staff and away from the street sounds. But the stairs to my room were really steep and the mattress was the old spring type. I just couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep on it. I managed to put my pillows in a line to sleep a bit. The weather was perfectly cool even with the late afternoon rain. For transportation, walk to the City Central and get a taxi there because It's cheaper that way. (No Uber so far away from city). I had a lovely short stay. "

"The space was really beautiful and was everything we needed. I was facilitating a wellness retreat and the large room was perfect for our participants and activities. The rooms were great and so was the space. My only recommendation is to make it clear in the posting that the swimming pool and labyrinth area is located in another part of the location of the property and is not walkable to get to. "We wanted to book somewhere in the middle of nowhere and this was what we booked. What a stunning view of the surrounding area and the night sky was something I hope I can remember forever. The lodge was what you can expect for the price, certainly adequate enough and breakfast was more than enough and was included too.
