"It's very out of the way, a little hard to find, but beautiful. Not fancy, clean, rustic. Cute. Great breakfast. Only one restaurant close by, but they told us that the other restaurants deliver. There is a 'kitchenette' in the room, so you can bring some groceries if you like. Or reheat leftovers. "

"We LOVED Badu Lodge. The perfect peaceful, beautiful, romantic nature getaway. Miguel went above and beyond for us, he saw us cleaning out our rental car we needed to return and helped out which was the sweetest thing. The breakfast was delicious and we loved our personal jacuzzi. The ONE concern is that Miguel made a bonfire for us, again super kind and above and beyond! But he was putting large plastic soda bottles into the fire- I'm not sure if he just isn't aware of the health hazards of...

"Great hotel. German college interns always available and very helpful. Only drawback, nobody, including cab drivers, could find this place. We stayed 2 nights and BOTH nights we journeyed out only to find that taxi drivers had no idea where this place was and that was AFTER showing them the address card that the hotel had given us. Very Weird."

"The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. I have never been greeted with such open arms and taken care of after all the staff was done for the evening. "Great stay. Attentive host. A very nice place sitting on a hillside overlooking the ocean and beautiful Playa Blanca beach at the foot of the hill. Enjoyed hanging out at the large terrace and taking in the amazing view. Saw a good number of scarlet macaws and flocks of pelicans. Down at the beach saw a troop of capuchin monkeys.
