Negatives are limited seating at beach and limited seating with umbrellas at pool. Also, in spite of their fantastic ocean views, they do not have furniture on balconies and discourage sitting on balcony. Not sure why and it seemed to make little sense to have balconies that you can’t relax on. Also their WiFi is a real issue. ...

"This place is pretty great! There were minor spots of wear and there was construction going on in areas during our stay, but I’m not going to let that determine the overall excellence. All of the food we ate on property was outstanding. The staff were all incredibly pleasant and helpful. Our room was a little musty, but that’s more the climate’s fault. "My wife and I took our kids (5 and 2.5) along with my parents to stay on the Bahtia resort property and loved every minute of it. The in subdivision pool was great for an evening swim and during the day we had easy access (via golf cart) to both the beach club pool and bar area as well as the st Regis hotel pool and bar area. "The resort and the unit are 2 totally different experiences. The resort itself was lovely- lots of pools and on a small beach (pools needed to be maintained better and the "waterpark" part of it is only open on the weekends) but the resort was kept tidy and pleasant. "Hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the location is optimal. Only bad thing is that their pool is closed and they don't tell you while you're booking your stay. I was sent an email a couple of days before my arrival making it difficult for me to book elsewhere. Only when you get to the hotel you'll see a sign that said that the pool is under maintenance since 2023."
