"We loved this beautiful resort with wonderful flowers. Non of the rooms had wifi and our internet provider (Kolbi) wouldn’t work in the rooms. Wifi was provided in the restaurant and bar area. We did see quetzal birds with an early morning guide…well worth it!"

"This was my second visit one of the best hotels in the Savegre Valley for birders. The accommodations are excellent (including heating in the rooms & hot showers!), with the mountain-view villas being especially good for birders. A major bonus is a wonderful bird-feeding area attracting lots of hummingbirds & frugivores. The only drawback on this visit was the disappointing meals on our first evening - I hope just a reflection of temporary staffing problems. Fortunately excellent restaurants...

"What an amazing experience staying at Santa Juana Lodge! Myself, my husband and our 2 year old daughter had an amazing time here. The views were incredible, and sleeping in the screened in bedrooms listening to the wildlife was so relaxing. Even though we were here in February it was very comfortable and cool sleeping at night. We arranged transport through Santa Juana Lodge which I would highly recommend. It was nice not having to worry about driving up the mountain. My husband did the birding...

"Tami lodge is located in a beautiful place far from civilization. We stayed in a glamping tent style that has a lovely shower and two comfortable beds. It was slightly cool at night which I loved because it made it easy to sleep. We needed to cancel the second night because we rescheduled our flight and we got our money back, no questions asked. I highly recommend this place. "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. "Living in nature! Beautiful remote location, quiet, monkeys on the trees around you, accommodating and friendly staff. Kitchen with basic dishes and stove. The cabin is basic but clean and comfortable. Each cabin has two bedrooms, kitchenette and main room, bathroom, and a covered balcony with furniture. Road to the ranch is a dirt road (not to rough but not ran issue)."
