"We visited Cloud Forest Lodge early March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is just slightly off the beaten path, giving you the true rainforest feel. The property has trails to explore, animals can be spotted throughout the grounds. We were surprised to see no tv, but that was just lack of research on our part. Staff were always friendly and helpful with any inquiries we had. Would definitely consider staying there again on our next visit to Monteverde."

"Beautiful space with friendly, professional staff. Our room was quiet and comfortable with a stunning view. The staff always welcomed us with a cheerful greeting and were helpful in explaining gluten free options while dining. We felt safe walking down the road to some of the shops and enjoyed coffee at the shop down the hill. We highly recommend. "

"This hotel is simply the best in all aspects, great ambience, aesthetically designed, I simply loved the interior and exterior decoration, meticulously planned and designed, I could not resist taking photos at the bar the because the way it is designed, breakfast was best with options to chose from, front desk team helped me to chose the type of activities with some great recommendations.. they have accommodated our request for keeping luggage as well as use of washrooms when we returned even after we returned.. all in all a great place to stay at Monteverde.. "So I want to write a review of this property because i really like it, everything was perfect and would highly recommend it for stays in the town. The staff are really helpful, its an easy walk to restaurants and stores, rooms are comfortable, breakfast was fine. However i want to take this space to really complain about Expedia. I have used their services for years but i was sooooo frustrated with them. I booked this hotel by mistake. When i tried to contact expedia immediately I could not get ahold of a real person to try to cancel the reservation. It was listed as an irreversible booking, but when i contacted the hotel immediately they said i could reverse it by contacting expedia. I wound up driving to the hotel and taking the room anyway but it made me furious at Expedia that they couldn’t tell me whether i could cancel it or not. All i wanted was an answer, all i got was a AI bot who just kept “ working on it” for 18 hours. Shame on expedia!!!! I’m hoping that i may get a response by writing this review. "
