"We had the best service that you've experienced in along time while on vacation. The staff was unbelievable! Every place we went in the hotel the staff was excellent, kind, friendly, and inviting. I would love to give it all 5 stars on everything, but there was a lot of things that needed up keep in our room and throughout the hotel. I know it's a older hotel, but there are still things that could be nicer in the rooms like the tubs and toilets. The grounds were well taken care of and so beautiful. The rooms were very clean, you can tell people love working at this hotel. It is just such a pleasant place to stay, we will return for sure."

"This was an easy off-season getaway from Los Angeles. Our cabin was quiet and comfortable with a nice outdoor seating area under the stars. We took advantage of the onsite restaurant twice in our weekend stay as well as the firepit. We had limited interaction with the front desk staff but they were helpful and friendly. Our first trip to beautiful Idyllwild was made better by our stay at Tahquiz Pines."
