"The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside...

"El trato del personal ha sido excepcional! Las instalaciones están un poco descuidadas. Son cabañas humildes pero tienen lo necesario (cama, ducha y toallas) y se llega andando al pueblo en poco más de 5min. El desayuno muy rico. El lugar estaba prácticamente vacío, por lo que los animales se acercaban y pudimos ver monos y un perezoso, el momento Estrella de nuestro viaje! "

"Lovely place. The staff was very attentive and bfast was really good! Great location just a few minutes walk to downtown and the national park. Lots of wildlife including howler monkeys. (The monkeys would start their noise around 4am so if you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs!) "

"The set up of the facility is cool, the rooms are detached bungalows with an outdoor kitchenette. The grounds are beautiful. The 2 pools are very small. The staff was nice, but did not speak any English, just Spanish (FYI). We did not eat at the restaurant, instead choosing to go to Puerto Viejo, just because we liked the town. The room was tidy, but had problems with the shower head and handle on the toilet. The AC worked good. We were the only guests on the property (mid July 2018). The...

"My husband and I stayed 5 days at Casa Verde. We had a very relaxing time there. The town is very small and everything is in walking distance. However, if you get a lot at the bigger grocery store, you might want to ask for them to deliver it for you. The beach is very close by. We bought two beach chairs to use while we were there and left them for others to use since there weren’t any. A few things to know: First, this house is very basic, just the essentials, no extras. "This resort is beautiful as pictured! Let me start by saying Francesca was a 12/10! I had many questions due to the location of this hotel. There’s no easy way to get here we flew into San Jose then had to take another flight to Limón and then take a cab to the hotel! A lot of time and a lot of money however the hotel has nothing to do with that! Francesca looked up the flights to Limón also had a van waiting for us she was helpful, patient and explained everything well. We communicated through whats app and she answered me quickly and throughly. The resort is very clean, very tranquil. The food was good and there are a lot of places within walking distance if you want to try local food. The beach is walking distance and easy to navigate. All I can say is be ready to spend alot of money traveling to get to this hotel. When you arrive you will have peace and quiet, the staff is great! "
