"Great location for visiting Florence. The farmhouse is rustic with basic facilities. Unfortunately we couldn't rate it any higher because the pool area was unfinished and the house not as clean as we would have hoped."

"Lovely property, our suite was huge and very comfortable. Great breakfast with lots of options! Our very helpful host Lorenzo organised travel to a nearby village and a cooking class which was great fun. Would be lovely to return in warmer months to use the pool. Calzaiolo

2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (15)
"Hotel Calzaiolo is WONDERFUL! I had a very restful time there. Antonietta is a kind, charming owner, and was so sweet and helpful to me. She even had a taxi deliver a work bag for me after I forgot it in my hotel room! Speaking of the room, it was charming and perfect, with a very cool wardrobe, and wood ceilings that overflowed with rustic style. If you're looking a for quiet, restful hotel (just 25 minutes outside of the hustle-and-bustle of downtown Florence), I highly recommend Hotel...

Il Castello di Bibbione

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (5)
"Stunningly restored, beautiful grounds and pretty baby friendly (out 5 month old slept well and had lots of space to play). Staff were lovely and I’d recommend booking the wine tasting and history tour. We loved our stay. However they are missing a few items I’d normally expect, toaster, kettle (they had an Italian cafetière) and microwave... other than that the kitchen was well stocked. Can’t wait to visit again when she’s a bit older!"
