"Very good, Perfect base if want to explore. Nothing fancy, has all the basics needed. Simple breakfast but lovely."

"Loved the room, loved the location. Directly across from Pitti Palace and within walking distance to many great sites. A quick five minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We had a 2 bdrm/2 bath suite which was huge and having two bathrooms was great. Didn’t have much contact with reception but enjoyed our stayed. Shopping and restaurants all around. Would stay again."

"The hostess at this hotel was the best! She was so helpful and kind. The room was quaint and had a wood ceiling and wood beam, which gave it lots of character. We had a private bathroom that was down 5 steps which was a little tricky to use. It was an older bathroom and had a few small issues. The hotel was about 5-10 minute walk from the train station which made it really convenient for dropping off our luggage before exploring Florence. Our hostess provided a delicious breakfast for us."

"Check in was a puzzle!! I felt safe afterwards because there were so many steps, phone call, text, locks and keys. You will be safe during a riot or zombie apocalypse. No one can get in. There is no staff. There is no services. It would be considered a luxury if there was staff and services. It would be luxury if there was at least a mini fridge to put beverages or small food items for our 6 day stay. Our room, The Botticelli, has windows to the street. "We had such a wonderful stay here. A gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location, easy to walk to all the main attractions. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The best part is the style of the hotel, it is absolutely gorgeous and mixes traditional upmarket Florence with homey. We will absolutely be coming back next time we’re in Florence. I will be recommending to friends and family coming to Florence. "

"It is an amazing location however if you are a light sleeper you should bring ear plugs. Please note our room was very close to the Piazza so that could have been a factor otherwise very spacious and helpful staff, small elevator but it was fine and functional."
