A note for those interested in EV charging: the 240v outlet in the garage was a 14-30 outlet (not 14-50 that is common to many portable chargers). So you would need a charger that is 24 amps or less and can use this outlet, which is commonly used with clothes dryers. There were also plenty of 120v outlets in the garage as well that work for level 1 charging. "
