"Fantastic hotel if you’re flying early or getting back late and need a place to stay. Very close to the airport, late checkin options, delicious breakfast included, and a lovely little cafe for dinner. Will definitely be staying there again!"

"The hotel is very clean and quite. The service was extremely good. The breakfast was well above expectations. (They had a menu of about 10 or 12 options). The only thing that I did not care for is that it is not really near anything, so I had to take a taxi. I prefer walking to dining, etc."

"Friendly staff. Need a chair in the room, need a floor mat in the shower too slippery with the slope. The frig did not have a temperature gauge and the items did not get cold. Other than these things is was a great place to stay. It was close to the museum, busses, and stores."

"I stayed at Costa Rica Guesthouse twice - the beginning and end of my solo trip because i liked it so much! The location was great for walking to local attractions and driving to the airport. The free parking was perfect. The staff was great and super helpful and the room was spacious!"

"People here great , kind , and servicial ! But door had window on top and hallway light was on all night so lots of light came in room, it was a bit noisy, one bed had hairs in it. Flushing toilet took forever or waste did not go down. Gym not clean or in good shape felt abandoned. Breakfast was fantastic, is very pictoresque. "

"My wife and I stayed here between travel days into and out of San Jose. There are restaurants in walking distance (we LOVED Lita) as well as the attached restaurant, both of which are very good. There is also a grocery store across the street. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the city and enjoy the food and pool here.
