"We loved the Villa. The pictures are a bit deceptive as you need to drive to the waterfall, which is a must see. The road up to the Villa requires a 4x4 or an SUV type vehicle. I missed this in the write up, we had a small car and it was very nerve racking. The host was very communicative and accommodating. I would stay here again. "

"Our stay was paid and confirmed 60 days prior to our arrival. We arrived 30 mins early only to be told we could not stay as a previous tenant had a pet that caused damage. No advance notice. Took 9 days to get a refund. Avoid this rental."

"Das Objekt ist von der Lage, Größe,Gestaltung und von der Kommunikation her einfach vorbildlich. Ana Maria war immer zu erreichen und Probleme (Kleinigkeiten) wurden sofort behoben. Wir haben das Objekt nach knapp 5 Wochen wahrlich unter Tränen verlassen. Besonders die immer freundlich Stimmung unter den Angestellten und Ana Maria hat uns sehr gefallen."

"The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful. We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening. The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love."

"If I had to use one word to sum up this VRBO home, it would be PARADISE. The home is very well-appointed, with magnificent views of the ocean. We spent much time in the infinity edge pool, gazing at the beautiful view. The home featured two large bedrooms as well as two large bathrooms, (en suite), a half bath and even a wonderful outdoor shower, (we never used the indoor showers). "For being in the rural town, the property inside and out was very clean. Parking is tough, 4 wheel drive may be needed and there are manual gates. It was affordable and as advertised. A very pretty and picturesque location. "

"The staff was fantastic. Our room was good. The restaurant on this property was just perfect. Food was perfect. We were here 5 nights museums are walkable. Easy to catch a tour here. We would come back. A real gem. "

"Our stay was excellent except for the gentleman who checked us in on our arrival. He seemed to be annoyed that are flight was late and our arrival was delayed. Outside of this everything else was outstanding!"

"A very nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Very clean. The breakfast meals need to have more variety. Their phone system when you they ask if you need English speaking staff and you press the corresponding number, the line disconnects. You end up having to call multiple times and eventually pressing 0 to reach someone. But the front desk personnel are top notch. The Sky Bar at the pool was never opened the times I went and expected someone to be there. I wish they did have a place to smoke cigars on the property instead by the guard booth outside the gate. Very close to the road and lots of bugs there. But still, I would recommend it to anyone going to Costa Rica. "
