"The size of toilet is a little bit smaller than expected, however the shower water was hot enough so was the pressure. But the shower was too small for us to change the clothes inside. The location and the price is great for temporary stay. The bed was large enough to fit us. The view was also nice! We even got to see the tram everyday! It was also close to the Metrolink Stop. Might consider coming back again soon. We were close to shops, foods, and so much more, it was really convenient."

"We were going to the Lowry Theatre to see a show, this hotel was the ideal location for a one night stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The surrounding area was quiet. There are a number of places to choose to eat near The Lowry and the Holiday Inn Express. An enjoyable stay."

"As always the staff are brilliant - welcoming, helpful & genuinely seemed pleased to see you! The only thing that lets the hotel down is the food - no wonder Deliveroo does such a roaring trade! I usually have breakfast in my room but this time chose to meet up with a colleague and went for a continental. It was understocked, range limited and the Danish pastries were raw! Not a great memory. Next time we will go out!"

"The room was in a terrible condition with marks all over the walls, broken picture frames, stained sofa cushions, a window that was locked open, mould in the kitchen and bathroom, and a collapsed bed! There were no staff on hand to deal with our issues and Hotels.com could not reach them via their contact details either. We left the night we arrived and the hotel refused to issue a refund and kept our security deposit. Stay well away from this hotel!"
