"The booking took place through Vrbo and then onwardly directed to Belvilla - no issues and worked well. House is a little dated but very well appointed as a rental property. The pool is amazing, heated which is a nice thing to have too! "A great property,very comfortable,needs a little TLC. Very well equiped kitchen,a great fridge,we had lovely evenings in front of the fire with our after dinner aperitif. A very relaxing oasis ,we all had great sleeps. Convienient location for exploring the Bordeau area. Easy train connection to Bordeau city,and very close to a great supermarket in Montpon. We had a great time."

"Perfect in every way! The exterior grounds are breathtaking and the home was perfect for a group celebration. Every bedroom had a private bath, along with another full bath off the pool area. All amenities were top of the line and the hosts most gracious. We could not have picked a better place for visiting St Emilion, Pomerol, and out to the Dordogne region of Sarlat, Le Rowue Gageac, Domme & the caves. 5 stars!"

"Mr Onillon was a great host, meeting us at the property and again at departure. A genuinely lovely man. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. We cycled a lot and there are good routes both ways along the Dordogne with Bergerac 20k away, plus a number of Bastide villages all around. Bordeaux is an hour in a car and Sarlat, La Roque and Domme all around 90 minutes away. Huge supermarket 2 minutes away in the car and a big Saturday market in St Foy. "We stayed for a week while attending the summer retreat at Plum Village Lower Hamlet as commuters. The space is a small house on its own property in the little village of Loubès-Bernac and was ideal for us. Great spot to jump off from to explore this wonderful part of France. "This property has lots of character. The views are glorious especially the afternoon sunsets. The property was well catered for. We prefered this proximaty to St Emillion, in a quiter rural village. However it is just a quick drive and you are able to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants and wine estate for which St Emillion is famous for. "We spent the month of June at the gite, and we really loved it. It was clean, comfortable, well kept and had everything we needed to live as if at home for a month. We particularly enjoyed the pool! Any questions or problems we had, Christophe was helpful, responsive and friendly. "An AMAZING beautiful hotel conveniently located in prime area. The entire staff was POSITIVELY the best!!! I can not say enough good things about the entire staff. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby we were catered to as if we were Royalty. They were so accommodating and helpful. I have stayed all over the World and spend at least 100 nights a year at hotels and the Hotel Pavie staff is at the very top and of my list!! The Restaurant is fabulous and if you can get a reservation it is a must do. I can not wait to return."

"Loved this hotel, it is right in the heart of St Emillion and it gives you. the opportunity to really explore the town on foot. There is parking at the hotel (if you book in advance which I would as parking in St Emillion can be challenging) which was a real bonus. Room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again if visiting St Emission."
