Was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Saint Emilion is only a short drive away and the staff was able to assist us in getting us there an back. The attention to detail is like no other when it comes to everything at the chateau. From the grounds to the incredible dinner we had. The hotel and grounds are well maintained. Lovely! The front desk service was superb. However, the service at the buffet was very inconsistent. Be sure to ask about egg options. Don’t always offer them to you. Doesn’t appear there is a system for clearing tables, managing the buffet and sharing options with customers. Stay away from the buffer during last 45 minutes. Service even more disjointed.

This was the perfect hotel. The chateau is stunning, and we had a vineyard room/view. Breakfast was a great way to start the day and the close location to St Emillion was just right. I highly recommend.

This is a truly beautiful property. Our room was spacious and well laid out and the common areas were all just lovely. The main dining room, in particular, was stunning with its stained glass windows and domed ceiling at one end. We had dinner here on our first night and really enjoyed the tasting menu, which turned into more courses than was on the menu. Staff were extremely attentive and my daughter appreciated their support as she practised her French -- something she rarely gets to do in her work in London. The property is part of a chateau so you have the vineyards all around you, and there's a beautiful terrace where you can sit for a drink to admire the view. Also, it's a short drive to other chateaux in St. Emilion and an easy drive to other places such as Sauternes and Margaux. Parking is free. We also used taxis and Ubers for dinners out so we didn't have to worry about driving on dark country roads. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Bordeaux.
