"WOW, I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel! I travelled alone, but the whole staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed. The two daughters (around my age) were really helpful, regarding practical 'stuff'; and I really appreciated their enthusiasm and support regarding me climbing the Gran Paradiso summit! The host Davide is kind and very helpful - he suggested some gorgeous hikes in the area and told us about an ongoing local festival. The breakfast was delicious and fueled us for the day. Late afternoon shot taken at the Bivacco Gratton when the sun had already set behind the Grivola. Right in front, on the other side of the Valle di Cogne, the Vallone di Arpisson, the Passo dei Tre Cappuccini and the Emilius. In the far distance, on Valle d'Aosta's other orographic side, the Grand Combin and the Cervino (I don't know the name of the beautiful peak on the left, which I guess must be famous. Suggestions are welcome). Two versions of the same shot (one exposed for the foreground and the other for the background) combined together with Photoshop Elements.
