The description of the flat notes there is an elevator to the floor but does not make clear that there is a flight of stairs required to get into the flat. This is a problem with those with disability. Some maintenance is needed -- dishwasher drawer, windows that do not close completely, tv missing in bedroom. "Apartment literally was steps from the London overground. We had everything we needed, just needed some coaching with the water heater (which runs the radiators in the rooms), the fuse box and the dryer. There is a clothes drying rack (not an actual dryer machine) but a full load of laundry was dry the next morning. Note that while it's great to be near so much pedestrian-only shopping and a market atmosphere it does mean your taxi cannot come to the door. "The place has great potential but sooooo many little things that we had to ask management about. Filthy mismatched furniture, no coffee pot, no basic essentials (salt, pepper, oil). Dirty mattress. Doors don’t close in 2nd bedroom, lights don’t work properly, no face towels or extra towels (4 were there). A/c was a portable unit in the bedroom, but the windows had to stay open for the vent. Positive - large master bedroom, living room and kitchen. Nice area "

"we stayed one week at Clermont. The building is well maintained, clean rooms, quiet. The food menu for breakfast is the standard that you can find. Something that you need to consider is that some floors do not have direct access to the lift, you need to use the stairs to get to the lift. Great location if you want to move around the city using the underground since the Victoria station is right there next to the hotel, and also the main stop for some city routes, many options if you want to eat outside, they are close to many restaurants and pubs. "

fantastic hotel, all you need.

"we stayed here for 2 nights with our 8 yr old boy who didnt want to leave. a fantastic hotel who's staff are brilliant, they cant do enough for you. we will definitely come back a short walk to Vauxhall underground or a lovely walk along the thames to Westminster taking in the sights of big ben and houses of Parliament. hotel has a pool and spa which we used and couldnt recommend more. can't wait to come back!!!"

Great value hotel

"Another great stay, staff are super friendly, hotel is clean and comfortable with good amenities in the room (kettle, hairdryer, toiletries etc.) Great location being a few minutes from Euston and easily walkable to major attractions. London is a busy city so rooms facing the main road can have some traffic’s noise (which doesn’t bother me). No individual hearing control in room so was a little warm but just opened the window! "
