"What a wonderful escape in the beautiful countryside! We loved our stay at the charming Farmhouse. The house itself was well stocked, clean, and spacious. The beds were so comfy! Plenty of places for our family to sprawl out. The yard was big and it was fun to see the cows in the meadow and walk down to the river. The host was great and responded quickly. Located near hiking, ski resort, and Harrisonburg. Great property!!!!"

"Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. I was there for a JMU finction and it was in a great location, far enough yet close enough. Again the only issue is the dog smell,...

"We were in town for a wedding weekend and found this charming farmhouse and were immediately hooked! Our stay was great, the house was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and watching the cows in the fields. The outdoor space didn’t get used too much but was so nice and the heaters made it very comfortable. "We were 4 adults visiting the area and couldn’t be more pleased with how convenient the house was to various wineries, historic sites, and downtown C’ville. Jeff was very responsive to any questions and provided a nicely stocked kitchen and fridge. Lots of space to spread out and comfy beds. We would rent again. "

"Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay on this lovely farm! The cottage is authentic, comfortable, and well-equipped. Our boys most enjoyed playing with the friendly family pets, as well as taking a stroll through the fields to see some farm animals. The hosts also have a restaurant in town where we had a delightful meal during our stay. My only regret is that our schedule was so full of events that we didn't have even more time to spend in this beautiful and relaxing atmosphere."
