"My wife and I came in town for a wedding and Ted and Jackie's was a wonderful landing spot. The place was great, they were very accommodating with the pool/hot tub temperature needs for my pregnant wife. Also, having our own private entrance was exteely convenient. Definitely be sure to run into downtown Garland for coffee in the morning, it's so close! "

"It’s just a few minutes from downtown and close to many great restaurants. The house is privately secluded behind the main house. It was perfect for me as a short term residence for business trip. "

"This is a fine hotel. We had never been to Dallas so it was hard to pick from so many hotels. What was the reason we picked this one? It was the reviews for the food that made us book here. That being said when we arrived it was late and we were starving. Juan brought us our food to our room. It was delicious. On top of that Juan was courteous. "This is the oldest hotel in Dallas built in 1922 there is an incredible history and is an excellent lower priced hotel with big rooms with all of the higher priced hotels across the street where you can still enjoy the restaurants etc. Very walkable and there is a coffee shop on the corner of the hotel property. I ordered door dash and it was easy. Highly recommend, beautiful affordable and you’ll have everything you need… 😊"

"The front desk staff and restaurant staff as well as housekeeping are always great and helpful! Free parking!!! Since many Dallas hotels charge 10.00 to 20.00 per day just for parking! My only negative comment is the hallway carpets need to be cleaned meaning steam cleaned or replaced! They are always vacuumed! "

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the parking attendants. In particular, Jasmine & an older black gentleman were just lovely. One complaint is that the tub was a bit slippery, and for seniors it’s a hazard to step into."
