"We had a great 3 day stay at this Cub Run house. It was cozy, cute, and very clean. The kids loved the ping pong table and availability of so many well kept games and activities. The house and kitchen were well equipped making meal time easy. Beds were comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed evening fires in the fire pit and the quiet area. The boys were excited to see deer in the backyard and explore! Quick trip to Mammoth Cave National Park and Nolin Lake State Park. The host provided information...

"Great location for our three day car show event at Beech Bend Race Way Park. Very close to shopping for for what we needed during our stay. The house had everything we needed to cook and dine each night. An older house with modern conveniences, felt right at home."

"The description of this property is exactly as described. We had 9 people with us. Two people slept on a couch. One was by choice. We had plenty of room and enjoyed it so much. We may end up going back during warmer weather to take more advantage of the nice property. "

WATERFRONT LAKE HOUSE 30 MINS FROM MAMMOTH CAVE

"This property is AMAZING!! Quite, private road, perfect view of the lake, the 2nd patio was my place to be in the morning. The sunrise was breathtaking, even seen a shooting star! The bedrooms....there is so much room!! Definitely coming back with my entire family for a longer time to enjoy the house and all it has to offer. A weekend isn't long enough!!"

"Came to ride Blue Holler. Four trucks with trailers, plenty of parking! Place was very clean, beds were very comfortable! Great access to Blue Holler! Didn’t have to trailer the buggies to the park, access trail about 100 yards from this property. Definitely book this property again! "

"We stayed here to see my 87 year old granny for the weekend its less than a mile from her home and shopping. It was easy to access, clean, quiet, had netflix, always hot water, cosy beds, the host was kind and available with communication. Deffinatley a great stay"

"House is fine and furnished everything we needed. However, there was No living area downstairs with a TV for the group to enjoy watching TV (ballgames and such) only in in a room upstairs that has 2 sofa beds that we needed for sleeping too. House is dated and needs some small repairs but those repairs did not hamper our stay. Beds are as follows since I found VRBO description confusing. I queen in bedroom downstairs 2 queens in another bedroom downstairs Two twin beds ina very small bedroom...

"We traveled with our adult kids for a quick trip to see Mammoth Cave National Park. The house was just as advertised, and provided a warm and cozy place to stay on a very cold weekend. Kitchen was well stocked. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Driving directions were super helpful, and it was easy to find even at night with all the great signage. Thank you, Jim and Judy, for making it a home away from home."

"Perfect spot near Mammoth Cave! Clean, comfortable, great amenities. The fire pit was perfect for evenings and the check in/out process was seamless. Property is as beautiful as the pictures. If the river crossing is open it’s a quick jaunt to the park, but the 40 minute drive wasn’t horrible if you plan for it (which we did). It was actually nice to be a little off the heavier tourist path. "

"Eight16 was the perfect spot for our group of ten adults and three kids. It’s beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The layout is great in that even with a big group, there’s places to go to get some social recharge. The beds were supremely comfortable. Chatting to the host was a delight. Seriously, the only negative I can think of was the lack of closet space. But aside from that 10/10. "

"This property was a short drive to the caves and water park and was very quiet. There was another group that stayed in the larger home closer to the street and we wouldn’t have known they were there had we not seen their cars. We got to enjoy the pool before they arrived which was nice. We’d forgotten our beach towels, but they were provided by the property owners. We were surprised with home made cupcakes which was a nice touch . All-in all we really loved this stay and would stay again."

"The cabin Is exactly as stated. We enjoyed and used the cozy kitchen every morning and night. Each day we spent adventuring the area. At night we used the charcoal grill. Then, after dinner we relaxed in the hot tub. The climb up to the loft was interesting, yet managable. We would come back again in a heartbeat. "

" The proximity to the things we wanted to do made this a good choice. We enjoyed the layout of the place, esp. the porches to enjoy coffee and watch wildlife. Our bed was was comfortable as well, very important to us. Appreciated the washer/dryer! A note to navigation: Having read another of the reviews that expressed concern about Hilltop Road, we found Jaggers Rd to be a great option as it is paved. "

"Check in very easy. Desk person very helpful regarding area. Room clean and comfortable. We only stayed 1 night. Looks like nice amenities but did not use. Breakfast ok. The lobby et al very pretty and clean. Reasonable, especially for passing through. "
