"We had a great time getting away and having a secluded, private and peaceful place to stay. We drove around Shenandoah’s Sky Line Dr and came back to amazing weather and spent a few hours in the hot tub. Accessing the property was easy peasy and the property manager was super quick to respond to any questions. Very relaxing, exactly what we needed! With that being said…the cleanliness was my biggest issue. The futon in the living room is red with black stains all over it, just filthy. We had...

"I've gotten used to bracing myself for the listing of vacation rentals falling short to what they are like in real person. But this place was fantastic. Clean, everything was nice, the pictures did not do it justice, gorgeous views, everything in working order, great communication from the host. "This was a perfect place to get away and completely power down. No internet, no cellphone, no TV. The property was cozy, clean, very well insulated and comfortable. We sent in the middle of winter. There was a really nice wood burning fireplace. The house overlooks a small pond. It was beautiful. It was less than a 2 hour drive from DC so very geographically desirable. Can't wait to go back."

"We wanted to check out the area for a possible move coming up. Although, it was a bit more in the woods and up into the mountain than I had realized (people were not kidding when they said to make sure you have 4 wheel drive) it was a really great stay for us. My husband and two sons had to meet us there the second day so I guess that is why the cabin straight in the woods was a bigger deal to me and my daughter going it alone. It is a super cute cabin in the woods with the most beautiful view...

"We enjoyed the comfy bed and living room chairs. The cabin has 2 bedrooms which was not clear to us when we rented it (we thought one bedroom). The hot tub outside is nice. Didn’t have cellular service but did have the the ability to text through WiFi. 1 1/2 baths was nice. Lots of cool wood craftsmanship throughout."
