I even came back to one staff member to let them know I made it through Old Rag's rock scramble on a wet day just fine. The dining experience allows you to build camaraderie with other hikers that you see at meals during the week. My room was in Bushytop and was very quiet and peaceful, while still maintaining modern conveniences like soap, shampoo, numerous electrical outlets, etc. Skyland in within about 10 miles of many of Shenandoah's major hikes, which I took full advantage of. "
