"Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at...

"I loved looking out at the sunrise over the lake each day! Well located to see the rustic back country of Downeast Maine. The house was nice, though it was evident that animals stay there. The kitchen could be better equipped, and patio furniture needs refinishing. Overall, though, it was a great place to stay."

"We needed a place to collapse and reset! This was perfect! Secluded and private with a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the lake. Not having to transport our own kayaks was a great plus; kayaks in good shape. The light over the main dining table was not working, as well as a few electric outlets -- we bought a lantern at Walmart in Calais and did just fine. Got a few really cold showers -- finally figured out one of us needed to shower in the am and the other in the pm to get 2 hot...

"Overall, our stay in Lubec was amazing! The location was fantastic - beautiful views, and less than 10 minutes from town. The house was lovely and well supplied. The lobster pot was perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. There were a lot of flys in the house during our week there. "We loved our time in this home! Jeanne was super easy to get in touch with, and even though there was a mixup with her cleaner, she went above and beyond to make sure the mistake was made right. The home was very comfortable & the view from the upper deck is gorgeous. The bed we used was very comfortable as well and the workout room was a nice perk! The heat was not working downstairs upon arrival, but he had a repairman come in to fix it and he also came over immediately when we were having trouble turning the fire pit on.
