"We finally got to The Holly Hill Inn, due to the weather (snow) we were contacted a couple of times by the staff, warning us about the weather, which was nice. When we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful and we arranged to have food in the restaurant, which was first class, and the breakfast in the morning was just as nice,, so highly recommended this place…. Holiday Inn Darlington - A1 Scotch Corner, an IHG Hotel

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (932)
"A decent, well located hotel with EV charge points and free parking. The staff were great from check in to the restaurant. The rooms are a good size and clean, bathroom was a little basic and tired but perfectly functional. The pillows are rubbish though. A fairly typical Holiday Inn and one that I will use again for its amenities."

"Amazing location. Clean and comfy room. Fridge on landing where we could keep fresh dog food and milk, they can be noisy in the room so great idea. Needs to update to a decent coffee machine if the sign outside says ‘coffee house’. Only filter served and not very nice. Some really lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely come back. 9/10"
