"Hotel is located in front of the main plaza and is a couple of blocks away from the beach. It has a beautiful infinity pool in the roof. There are many restaurants at a walking distance and the hotel has a good and convenient restaurant on the first floor. WiFi may be weak in the rooms but if you need to download a film just walk down to the lobby. El Cuyo is a relaxing place and definitely this hotel helps to wind down. "

"Lovely hotel steps from the beach (there are no beach clubs in El Cuyo so this is as close as it gets!). Room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony with a hammock and a roof terrace with amazing sunset views. Staff at the hotel were really helpful and the food is good, especially the paella nights. If you want to relax and explore then El Cuyo is a great place and this hotel is a great place to stay."

"El hotel esta bien, cerca de la playa, tiene instalaciones amplias y comodas, nos quedamos 3 dias y 2 noches, el único pero muy importante detalle, es que nunca nos hicieron la limpieza en la habitación durante toda nuestra estancia, se lo comenté a la encargada y me dijo que no la hacian hasta que desocuparamos la habitación. "Very nice place decent location but unfortunately when they electricity goes out, they don’t have back up generators and it’s really hot and muggy in your room. They give you a candle but with no lighter to turn it on I think for the amount of money you spend it should have a little back up generator to have the AC working. They only have a generator working on the common areas as in kitchen and bar. I guess they do that to keep the revenue coming in. "

"Our room was right beside the restaurant so it was quite noisy till about 11pm. Felt a bit claustrophobic in the room. We will not stay there again. Food at the restaurant was pretty good and the staff was very pleasant and warm."

"Staff are super helpful and friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean. I really want to leave a good review as they are trying so hard, but there are shortcomings that could easily be addressed. The rooms are pretty basic and a couple of glasses, a hairdryer, extra towels etc would make a huge difference. "Great view! Location was very nice and right across from the malecon. The pool was better than expected and great for cooling off in. The staff were very friendly and especially Bernaby (Barnaby) and Julie. We loved walking to Sendero Peten Mac and making use of a mototaxista Juan who we used for an excursion to San Felipe and Las Coloradas and playa Cancunito. "Le propriétaire et sa femme sont adorables, toujours disponibles pour répondre à nos questions et voir à ce que les clients soient bien. Une personne nous attendait à l’arrêt d’autobus pour nous mener à l’hôtel. C’est un hôtel magnifique, vraiment. La terrasse est grande avec plusieurs chaises et tables. Il y fait chaud toutefois, car tout est en plein soleil. Le petit-déjeuner offert a été très apprécié. L’arrêt d’autobus pour aller à Las coloradas est à 5 min à pied. Le propriétaire peut organiser une visite guidée ($) avec un guide officiel qui est super gentil. 🙂 Sur le malecon, en marchant, il y a des dépanneurs pour les grignotines et des restaurants. Le centre n’est pas très loin à pied. Nous sommes restés deux soirs. Au final : qualité/prix excellents! "

"We used the buffet a lot. The food options were diverse and changed every time. The food was very savorous. There were plenty of drinking options included with the all-inclusive. The staff was very kind. The room was cleant every morning. The hotel is two minutes away from the beach. We definitely advise this hotel. That’d be great that Expedia proposes a package including the transfer from the airport to the hotel (taxi to Chiquilá, ferry from Chiquilá to Holbox, and taxi from Chiquilá’s port to the hotel) to make travellers’ life even easier."
