"A homely and comfortable country house in which to enjoy a few days exploring The Gower. The staff are so very friendly and obliging. They could not do more to make you feel welcome and to assist in any way. Breakfasts and evening meals are excellent, and the lounge with wood fire is a joy. Parking is convenient. I highly recommend the afternoon teas too. Our thanks go to everyone. "

"An amazingly well equipped home. Everything you could possibly need for self catering, washing machine, dish washer, airfryer and pod coffee machine( but our pods weren't compatible) and we didn't need to use any of these for our three night stay. All cleaning equipment provided, soap, shower wash and lovely thick towels.Really good sized fridge freezer"

Lovely property for a winter walking holiday

"Lovely house, loads of room and everything we needed was there.Comfortable beds, gorgeous wood burner (though with the heating on in the evening as well the dogs got a bit warm, the second day onwards we just lit it for a few hours at lunch time), clean enough but not immaculate, which is much more relaxing when bringing dogs. It felt like a cosy home from home in a beautiful part of the world!"

Fabulous

"Lower Mill was just lovely. A picturesque garden with a stream, proximity to the local pub, not too far from an amazing beach, we had a lovely time. There was plenty of space for me and the kids (and the dog). Honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed. Helen (the owner) was super-helpful throughout, would definitely stay again!"

A true home from home

"Having stayed in and around Rhossili for years now, this is the first time we have stayed in a house setting. The owner was lovely and really helpful, especially when we locked ourselves out. We were surprised to find the host had even provided some essentials, such as Welsh cakes, milk, eggs, and brew making items. The house was not big but homely and very well set out. The stairs would be a struggle for some and the shower was quite small, although there was lots of hot water and the pressure was amazing. There was lots of thought gone into the comfort of guests, including blankets in the lounge and extras in the bedroom. An added bonus was the friendly dogs we met as well as the horses in the next field. Only a short walk to Wormshead and the beach. "

No return for us

"Although a little lovely cottage, close to the sea, found most local pubs all had different eating times or the kitchen was closed, so ended up with sandwiches back at home, lanes were flooded giving even more problem to access, I just think it was the wrong season February to go, i am sure it is lovely and the places serve food in the spring/summer. I do not agree for a 3 night stay of not being able to access the property until 4pm and have to leave at 10 this cuts out a whole day from a 5 hour drive. So would not book again. Plan it carefully."
