"We booked this hotel last minute at a good price £45, and for the price we paid I'd say it was acceptable. We were in room 212 and the bedroom was ok, the restrictor on the window was broken which didn't pose a safety concern to us but may to others. The bathroom however needs some attention, the floor was broken in places and even though it was probably cleaned it really didn't feel clean. The toilet moved when you sat on it. For a 2star hotel it was ok. Neighbouring rooms did seem to slam...

"Although very slightly a little old fashioned it was excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff as every single person we met with was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Probably suits the more mature clientele, which is us, and the entertainment in the evening most likely would get through the auditions on Britain’s Got Talent but this is more than made up for by the staff and delicious food especially breakfasts. "Ample for what we paid. All working & fit for purpose, though I have trouble with stairs & being on the 2nd floor was a bit of a job as the lift wasn't in action. The sprinkler was hanging off the ceiling, but didn't effect our stay. Quite a noisy room, being directly above the moving bollard but luckily I brought my earplugs so didn't bother me too much."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Tower hotel and spa, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is delicious I had the roast lamb dinner both nights of my stay because it was so delicious, I didn’t sleep very well on my first night in the tower and mentioned this to a lovely lady who worked in the restaurant and in no time at all they moved me to another room, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning. "

"We stayed in a dog friendly room and our dog was also allowed to eat with us in part of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is well placed for the gorgeous Gower. Three Cliffs Bay, Oxwich Bay and the beautiful Rhossili and Worms Head were a short drive away. "

"We liked the whole atmosphere surrounding the house and gardens etc. the staff were super and very helpful. The breakfasts were great especially the Welsh breakfast! We will be coming again. "Excellent stay with a twin room overlooking the golf course. Great location for Mumbles. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It would be good if the room had full blackout blinds or curtains as the room got the sun very early in the morning and lit the room up even with the blinds closed. Would have liked a slightly bigger towel but that’s being very picky. The best thing about the stay was the breakfast - it was really nice with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a lovely one night stay whilst walking on Gower. Rooms are smartly appointed and comfy, in the evening there is an excellent small plates menu on offer plus ice cream parlour. Popular with locals so had a nice atmosphere, but by 10.30pm the crowds had gone and we had a quiet night's rest. Ideal for Wales Coast path walkers."
