"Cottage is in a great location literally a minutes walk to the beach and coast path. Beds are comfy, and it was fine for a couple of nights, but the cottage has quite a basic feel about it. We were lucky to have 2 very sunny days so spent most of the time out walking, as it’s not a particularly cosy cottage, but a good base if you want to be out exploring on foot. "

"The first impression was that the outside of the house was festooned with cobwebs with very dirty windows, not cleaned for years probably. Not good! Inside we found plaster wrappers on the bathroom floor, hair balls in a bedroom & a broken toilet seat downstairs. Bedroom carpets & the large stool downstairs dirty & stained. Later when it rained the conservatory flooded through the side doors. The conservatory doors drainage channels were full of dirt & blocked, causing the flood. Lots of mould & dirt inside the conservatory & shower seals & runners. On day one we fixed the toilet seat and the flooding ourselves. Not what we expected to be doing on our first day! The main bedroom door is hanging on a hinge which a botched repair had not fixed & could hardly be closed. The door handle is hanging off. Most doors were grubby with long grained-in dirt. We found most of these problems were written up in the guest book at the house going back years, yet nothing had been done. I can provide photos of all of the above. There were no black bags for rubbish & no recycling bags for glass, plastic etc despite there being recycling bins outside. The advice in the house is to put everything in black bags in a bin!! No way for us to recycle despite the local authority collecting whilst we were there! Having said all this we really enjoyed our week on the Gower coast visiting various lovely beaches & the house is in a good location. This was despite the terrible maintenance and cleanliness! "

"We had a wonderful time staying in Whitebridge Cottage. It's in an excellent location, with the beach a few minutes walk away, and all the village amenities on the door step. The cottage was immaculately clean and had a very well equipped kitchen. It is spacious and comfortable and we felt at home. There are 2 parking spaces.. What more could you want?"

"Excellent location and well presented house. Extremely comfortable beds and you can hear the sea from your bedroom. I would recommend this house if you would like to explore The Gower. Horton is beautiful and only a short walk to Port Eynon. Only negatives, the garden is not secure for dogs, one of our dogs escaped through the hedge into the beach car park. We would also have preferred more than one key for the front door as it is required to open both inside and out. Overall we have loved staying here and we hope to return. "

"Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Lack of mobile signal in Port Eynon for most networks was an inconvenience. The wifi router is in an adjoining property which caused problems which the host did her best to resolve. The garden is not contiguous with the property. Nevertheless we had a very enjoyable week."
