"The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. Very good sized room and king sized bed. However, it's all in need of modernisation, so some things (e.g. lights) are dated and not all working properly. Apparently this is being done soon. I was not told that there would be a banging disco downstairs on the Saturday night, which went on until a little after midnight. The walls are THIN ... "Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation.
