"The hotel is very clean and the staff in the adjacent bar are really great. The only down side is that there is nowhere comfortable to sit in the room to watch tv for example. "

"A great overnight stop with good food and beer in the restaurant. It wasn’t warm in the public areas or the room but it was cold weather outside. The room heater struggled and was a bit noisy "

"Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"Really enjoyable trip and the staff were incredibly helpful. Very clean and a perfect location in the heart of Hillsborough. The pub downstairs is a really nice establishment as well."

"A fantastic find for our needs. The owner was exceptionally helpful. Central to the city. Great value for money. We had a great room. However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. Maybe stick with 2 separate items. 2- Not ideal for light sleepers. Can sadly hear a lot through the walls. 3- although the apartment was clean. I am not too sure the hoover was done.
