"We had a great time in Barcelona. Enjoyed staying here- location was great. Apartment seems smaller than in the pics, but was adequate for 2 women in their fifties. There was some street noise that could be heard in the bedrooms as the flat is located on the first floor. We turned on the fans in the room that seemed to help camouflage the noise in the evening. Property management company was responsive. Contactless entry super easy from an app."

The last renter had not done a very good job cleaning utensils, glasses and dishes so first thing we did was wash everything in the dishwasher. The gas stovetop did not appear to be working, but as we were only there for 2 nights we did not bring this up with the owner, so there is likely a solution to that. The area is ok, a small convenience store and cafe below, and other amenities and cafes, restaurants in easy walking...

Immediately upon arrival, we noticed one set of electric blinds did not work, the place had been cleaned just enough, but not under furniture, and the kitchen was bare- only 3 drinking glasses, no bowls, no dish towels. Management also told us that there are frequent power issues which require that the fuse box be reset. For the first 10 days, we had to do this 2-3 times per day. The last few days, only once per day. We let management know about the other issues,...

"The pictures look fantastic but in reality the place is VERY run down. Pretty much everything is broken. The faucets are missing parts, the stairs wobble, the clothes washer won't finish a cycle, there are holes in most walls, light fixtures are dangling, broken, or even sometimes completely missing, the couches are torn and smell of urine, the art on the wall has holes in it, the sliding window door won't close, the clothes drying racks have more missing parts than remaining...

"Mas Blanc is just the right size for a couple, it has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. It is a 5 min drive to the nearest station and then 15-20 mins to the centre of Barcelona, really easy to get to. It is perfect for those city centre days and then has lovely scenic walks on its back doorstep for those peaceful moments. The host Estela was very helpful, giving lots of information about trains to catch and places to see both in the city and also for the nearest beach...

"Property was great. It was clean and had the perfect amount of space for my friend/her children and for me/my children. We were able to divide the rooms/bathrooms up amongst our families. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station the led us into Barcelona and also led us north to the beaches. The only thing that I would request more of was toilet paper. There were 6 humans that use toilet paper and it was originally stocked with just 2. In my opinion 4 would have been enough. One last thing...

"Overall the place was ok for the price but lacked a lot of things! For starters there was no trash can in the bathrooms. Actually it was just 1 trash can in the whole house. So no where to put feminine products but the toilet! There were no cleaning supplies to clean up after ourselves. And the beds were extremely hard! The steps are very hard to go up and down have to be very careful! There is a nasty stench in the home that smells like dogs and cigarettes and the smell is on all my stuff now...

"From the time we first arrived in the pitch dark night, with no entrance lighting of any kind, our expectations for a colorful, well appointed apartment like the one in the photos were not met. Somehow in the time between now and when the photos were taken a new owner or management company came in and stripped the apartment of its beauty and comfort.
