Such a lovely warm welcome with a very helpful lady at reception and beautiful piano playing in the lobby by a fabulous pianist the hotel smelt lovely and was so well kept clean and set up. The rooms are great sized and very clean and great service I will surely be back.

Very expensive! I paid 222 EUR for the room. The temperature in the room was very warm. The airco didn't work as they told me they put the system already on winterstand (so it was not possible to cool the room.....). So I had to open the window to cool the room down.The noise was incredible. WIFI was HORRIBLE. I had to pay a lot of money extra for breakfast and sauna........... And at the end the asked me to pay the 2 EUR for tourist tax.

The hotel was nice. Clean. Good sized rooms. Lobby bar was pleasant. Staff was very courteous. Only negative is, it’s far from any major attractions or landmarks, and limited dining options nearby.

They let us check in early which was nice. Honestly only stayed at this hotel because of the pictures of the pool which COSTS EXTRA and is in fact not even a part of the hotel. The lobby was newly renovated but the rooms and halls are quite old. Shower took forever to warm up. The linens and towels were unclean and there was a centipede in the sink. Gross. Pretty far from everything also. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Good property- clean ample sized room- out of the way not near central city activities or attractions. Few restaurant choices. Hotel restaurant not open on Friday or Saturday not sure why. Limited breakfast buffet available. Though missing some amenities property did work out for our trip.

The staff was fantastic in the hotel always answering our questions regarding where to visit the best place to go to visit as well. We had a buffet breakfast that was very nice and then we realise we can order some stuff like an omelette and a Sunny up egg. I booked this hotel due to its having a spa/gym and we went there twice to have spa and go and have a massage done. The hotel location was a great location to go to the central of Barcelona. We experience difficulty connecting to an Internet sometime we had the Internet sometime we did not have the Internet. The only thing I would recommend for the property to do is to insert more wireless routers for the Internet. I understand the hotel is very busy all the time because we went for 5 days and we noticed there people therefore their business meetings. Staffed, offer us To change our room, but because we were very comfortable in our room because we only were there for a couple of days. We would go back to the same hotel when we will visit Barcelona next time.

The website was misleading in that it said the hotel was within close distance to the city center. However, it was much further especially with traffic and through public transit. There were 2 older men at reception who were very unwelcoming to me and my party. Also, the wifi was horrible. It did not work at all. We went downstairs to ask for a connection to a different router and that one also did not work.

This could have been a good choice. The hotel is undergoing a renovation, which is fine, but let the guests who are expecting a lounge and restaurant know this will not be available. There is nothing in a walkable vicinity except for a grocery. But my biggest issue was that the AC didn’t work- it pumped out heat. When I asked the front desk i was told that it was winter- turn of the AC and open the window. Seriously? It’s the end of March and the temperature that day was over 26c. When I did open the window, I had to open the drapes, which allowed the street lights to illuminate my room. Needless to say, not a restful night. When I mentioned all of this when I checked out, I got a shrug.
