"Really close to amenities and beach. Apartment was small, sold as 2 bedroom, but really only 1 full bedroom. Bathroom was adequate, but could do with a bit of a deep clean. For price paid, my expectations were very high. Washing machine and dishwasher were a huge bonus. "

"Noise was a minor issue-ie could hear stuff going on above us. Bit on the whole lots of facilities n social things nearby n access to city centre n beyond good ie superb travel networks. Property a wee bit tired but probably due to high usage. Staff were A1- came across really nice folk n v obliging with a smile. "Location is great! Walkable from Sagrada Familia, and Sant Pau. We did not park but public transport was super accessible. It's across the street from L5 Sant Pau metro station. "Space was nice and conveniently located to sites and transportation. Unit could have included a few more basics, such as tea towels to dry dishes, un stained table cloth, and perhaps a roll of paper towels for shorter stay customers. The lock boxes for the keys were not convenient, as the numbers would continue to roll after each was set, the keys didn’t easily fit into boxes. These boxes should be updated. Overall, it was nice. "This property was very nice and clean. The host was always available to talk and met us in person during check in. The area was located where dining and entertainment facilities were available. Placa Catalunya is only 15 minute walk away to meet the Hop on Hop off bus to start our tour. Grocery store is located on the first floor of the building and still quiet. "Nicely sized apartment consisting of 2 bedrooms with twin beds, and 2 bedrooms with double beds. Excellent location with walking distance to all main attractions including Sagrada Familia. However the biggest let down is was the bathrooms which were appalling unfortunately. There are 2 bathrooms - 1 with a bidet and bath tub and another one with a shower square, toilet and sink. "We had a great stay here. This was in an excellent location in the gothic quarter with many restaurants and sites nearby. It was a bit noisy at night, so I would recommend earplugs and the kitchen could have been a bit better stocked, but otherwise we had a great stay"

Asi que nos mandaron a otro hotel mucho mas lejos de donde ya habia planeado. El internet del nuevo hotel no servia, intente llamar a la directora muchas veces. "Very nice apartment with original woodwork and floors. Very comfortable queen sized bed. The washer and dryer and full kitchen worked well. Markets and restaurants and pharmacies along the street. Make sure to visit the rooftop as you can see the Sagrada Familia from there, just a walk away. Metro stop Verdaguer just up the street and Metro will take you around the city. We would love to come back."

"The Hotel Lamaro is an absolute gem! It is on a large pedestrian square, directly opposite the Barcelona Cathedral which we had a view of from the room’s balcony. The entire place is immaculate and our room was spacious and well set up. Although some of the furnishings (such as upholstered chairs in the halls need to be replaced), the rest of the hotel was recently and tastefully redone. We had breakfast as part of our room rate and the buffet was fabulous. There is a rooftop bar/restaurant with a view of the cathedral which was wonderful. But the best part about the hotel was the staff: truly exceptional!! Friendly, helpful, professional. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Gothic Quarter, you can’t miss with the Hotel Lamaro!"

Best Weekend away!

"Me and my mate really enjoyed our stay here at Occidental! We were in Barcelona for the Half Marathon and this hotel was the perfect place to relax and rewind after our long days. We were offered complimentary champagne on arrival and check in was super smooth. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic, really adding that extra recovery and comfort to our stay. The buffet breakfast was so great with a variety of different food options. To finish off the room was very tidy/clean and the beds were very comfy indeed! Staff were super helpful, we will definitely return sometime soon."
