"Previously stayed here and it’s on our ‘go to’ list for when we need to be in the area for work or visiting friends and family who live in the area and stretching down to Highbridge, so it’s convenient being next to the M5. As always, warm welcome from reception, hotel looks and smells fresh and clean, hotel room clean and some deep cleaning over a quiet period would bring it to sparkling. Bed lovely and firm, bedding crisp and good quality and good pillows. The service area is behind the hotel with Waitrose, Burger King, KFC and WH Smith plus Starbucks. Handy to pop to on the odd occasion. Not a luxury ‘away’ break but a very comfortable and pleasant ‘need to’ break. We opt for room 31 where possible as it has an easy accessible bath and space to move around the bed ……. Helps with my mobility issues; which are not severe but it makes things pleasant for me. Will be staying here again in future without doubt. "

"This was for an overnight stay after arriving at Bristol Temple Meads train station, before catching the bus to Bristol Airport the next day, and it was ideal. A couple of minutes walk from the train station and bus stop, the price was fantastic and included a buffet breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable with everything you need and an excellent shower in the bathroom. We arrived late in the day, but the bar did pizza and toasted sandwiches. Would thoroughly recommend. "
