"Super responsive and friendly people. Very cool speakeasy on property with karaoke on some nights and outdoor movies! Friends stayed in the Star Wars themed house, all the decorations are meticulously done. Close to Austin and Lockhart (BBQ festival). Each place had a fenced yard for your pups. Perfect place for groups of couples to have their own place but be next door"

"Cabin was very clean, the view was phenomenal and it was nice feeling off the grid. We fished a ton every day with lots of luck. Wide variety of exotic animals to watch throughout the property. Would be very fun to visit during summer to take advantage of the pool. The listing on VRBO can be slightly confusing. "This was the perfect place for our getaway. The property was fantastic. The cabin was wonderful full of interesting history about the Chicken Ranch and everything we needed to cook and relax. Jan was wonderful and always responsive. The best part for us was being able to let our dogs off leash to run and hike the numerous trails. We will definitely return "

"The place is on the river. It is clean and has everything you can think of just not TV. In the dark it is dark and hard to find. But you are on the river. AC works great. Hot water is hot. Beds are comfy. Theres a hammock in the living room just no TV. "

"Great little cottage stay outside of Austin for a weekend getaway!"

The cabin is surrounded by a lively assortment of loblolly pine and other trees.

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house and the grounds are beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes... we were able to stay in and cook all our meals there. The smores welcome pack was awesome. We spent most, if not all, of our nights around the fire pit just enjoying nature and lots of smores. There is a huge bathtub in the master bath, my 5 year old niece enjoyed her nightly "swim" (and the tub was never more than half full). We had six people total and had to let the water...

"The property was ok. I received text with door code & different address for property in Seguin,Tx. Text & email host - NO RESPONSE. Arrived at texted location - WRONG LOCATION - Called host # & was given correct address in Kingsbury,Tx. Cabin door was wide open when we arrived. Very poor cleaning. Dirty floor, gunk in dresser drawers, string lights in patio not working. TV not working-workers changed out for smaller one with broken let & they just rigged it on top of DVD player.
