"This is a wonderful property. Very well kept and maintained. Very beautiful. My husband and I went there for our anniversary and it was great. Recommend booking the spa before you get there because we couldn’t get any reservations even though we were there for three days. Also it was a bummer that not all activities were available even though they are listed on the activities pamphlet they text you before you arrive. Also sadly the outdoor hot tub was broken. "

"Beds were comfortable, shower worked well and was clean, and the staff were friendly. The HVAC system was a little loud, and there was a fair amount of road noise from the highway nearby. We were able to use a fan noise app on our phones to cancel out most of the noise. There were some cleanliness issues with the first room we were assigned, but the staff quickly gave us another room which was great. Would stay here again."

"We really liked this hotel! We travel all year for our child’s sport, and we were delighted with this little retro gem. It is about 10 min from the Virginia Horse Center. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue noted was a lack of hot water our first night. The hotel addressed the issue immediately and hot water was back the following morning.
