We were able to book this location in the nick of time and we just cant say enough good things about the location, the views and Mr. And Mrs. Layne. Everything worked out perfect and I dont think it could have possibly gone better. Thanks to both of you for letting us have our wedding there."

"We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

"Very fun getaway property. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, coffee makers and well heated/insulated in the wintry weather. Property is lovely for walks and must be amazing in all seasons. Close enough to Lexington for errands, far enough away to be secluded and quiet. Pool Table was a big hit!"

"The Gin Hotel is a must stay again for me. The Gin is a unique hotel in a 100yr old building right in downtown Lexington. It was quiet, clean, safe and all of the staff were awesome. I grew up in the area but haven't returned in a couple of decades. Downtown Lexington has transformed into a great place to walk around, shop, eat and have a few drinks. The only negatives I would give is parking is tight for modern vehicles and the mattress was firmer than my taste... but that's personal preference. "
