""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."

"This is an incredible place to stay! Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. The chalet is comfortable, clean, and very peaceful. The host is just wonderful and is friendly, generous, and helpful. I highly recommend this place!"

"It was hard to find at night, even with directions, so I recommend getting there during the day. But once you are there it is heaven. A great starting point for interlacken adventures and a friendly, helpful host."

"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. "Cannot give anything else other than 5 stars purely for the location. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds although the doubles were 2 camp beds pushed together. Nice cabin feel but could do with being updated. TV was too small but the view outside made up for this. WiFi was good with no dropping out at all. "The house was incredible. The view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the ducks and swans. The only problem was finding the house the first time. It was well located for skiing and the slopes were not over crowded. Kitchen was outstanding and well equipped. Living room was comfortable. We had a great time. "

It is a bit of a hike to get there, including 60 steps, but quiet and in a lovely setting with a great view of the Jungfrau from the balcony and back terrace. "We enjoyed our stay in Lauterbrunnen. While the town itself was very busy the central location of Lauterbrunnen allowed us to quickly escape the hustle and bustle and explore the surrounding mountains. The home had everything we needed. For us as international travellers it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the laundry machines and oven, as the symbols were different. All in all a wonderful stay. "
