"Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. But there were a few issues that stopped it being 5*. The shower drain was blocked and quickly filled up. You have to put your own bedding on...

"With 8 adult friends we had a wonderful week in april 2024. Although the fourth double room is very small for two adults. And to go outside tot the bathroom is a disadvantage.We lived mostly in the kitchen because of the very effective pelletstove. If you are aware of the long trip down and up fom the parking lot you will enjoy your stay."

""Romantic chalet bijou" is a perfect description: this is an ideal place if you're looking for somewhere quiet and "off the beaten track". Very clean and well equipped (the only thing missing was an iron, but we're happy not to iron our clothes!), and the terrace is lovely. A lovely base for exploring the upper Valais region."

"Nothing could have prepared us for how special and unique this location was. The home lies in a stone village on an enchanted mountain woven with waterfalls and mists. The host was gracious, has an excellent kitchen for cooking, and a special set of fireplaces to keep you warm in winter. Traveled with a small dog too, who also very much enjoyed this magical spot. We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay. Perfetto!"

"Wonderful chalet with amazing views of Eiger from the porch. Short 15 minute walk to town, but separate from Grindelwald. Lovely sounds on the stream flowing nearby. 3 simple bedrooms & 1 bathroom. Full service kitchen & wonderful porch. Great rental for our family. Thank you."

"Wir haben die Ferienwohnung im Parterre sehr genossen (keine anstrengende Kofferschlepperei!). Die etwas konservativ konzipierte Ferienwohnung mit den verschiedenen getrennten Zimmern hat auch Vorteile: Man kann jeden Raum separat beheizen und hat auch keine Küchenluft im Schlafbereich! Nähe zur Aletsch-Arena (Abfahrt) und zum Langlaufskigebiet Goms ist sehr vorteilhaft. Der Umgang mit der Vermieterin war vollkommen unkompliziert und sehr freundlich."

The apartment couldn't have more charm and the hosts went above and beyond to get us to the remote location and to make sure every need was met but at the same time giving lots of privacy. "This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities."
